Es misst das Integrationsklima (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.svr-migration.de\/glossar\/integrationsklima-index-iki\/\">\u2192\u00a0Integrationsklima-Index<\/a><\/strong>) in der Einwanderungsgesellschaft und erhebt Einsch\u00e4tzungen und Erwartungen der Bev\u00f6lkerung mit Blick auf Integration und Migration sowie auf Integrations- und Migrationspolitik. F\u00fcr das IB werden alle zwei Jahre Personen in einem wissenschaftlichen Verfahren nach dem Zufallsprinzip ausgew\u00e4hlt und telefonisch befragt. Eine St\u00e4rke ist die hohe Zahl an Befragten mit Migrationshintergrund. Bei der Auswertung wird durch Gewichtungsfaktoren gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass die tats\u00e4chlichen Bev\u00f6lkerungsanteile von Menschen mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund entsprechend widergespiegelt werden.
