Meike Giordono-Scholz

Communications Manager

Meike Giordono-Scholz is a graduate in political science and trained journalist. She has worked for Deutsche Welle, Germany’s foreign language broadcaster, and the German public service broadcaster ARD, among others, and was foreign correspondent in various regions of Africa and Asia. Meike Giordono-Scholz worked for the refugee programme of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Jordan, after which she held the post of Desk Officer in the Strategic Communications Steering Group in the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. Most recently she was Communications Lead for the NGO International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Germany.
