Julia Schumann

Researcher

Julia Schumann studied political science at Bielefeld University and at Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2016 she has worked as a researcher, press officer and project lead on flight and migration. Her work focuses on local migration policy, networking within networks of cities and migrants’ labour market access. Most recently she was head of the European city project “Moving Cities – Another Migration Policy is Possible”, which mapped successful local migration policy approaches and established networks of stakeholders.
