The Expert Council on Integration and Migration (SVR) uses social media to engage in an open dialogue with all those who are interested in issues around integration and migration. We look forward to reading your posts and comments. It is important to us that we all treat each other with respect – in the same way we would if we were meeting face to face. We therefore ask that you follow our rules on posting comments. If you do not follow these rules, we reserve the right to delete specific content and report it to the relevant platform operator.
Please apply the following netiquette when posting comments on the SVR’s social media channels.
Please ensure that your comments are fair and polite, and please stick to the facts. Never personally attack anyone or direct arguments against any specific person. We reserve the right to delete or hide any racist, sexist or other discriminatory comments as well as hate speech, and to report it to the platform operator and block the person leaving the comment. We also reserve the right to delete identical or similar comments by anyone attempting to influence the discussion rather than to engage in proper dialogue. Comments containing commercial advertising will also be deleted.

The SVR takes no responsibility for users’ comments – each user is responsible for their own comments. By posting a comment, users grant SVR the right to keep that comment permanently on its social media channels.
