Irena Kogan is Professor for Sociology, Societal Comparisons at the University of Mannheim. Her main research interests are in the areas of ethnic and social inequality, migration and integration, and how young people transition from education to the labour market. Her research is mainly comparative, based on the quantitative methods in social research and data analysis.
